LATEST WORK
In order to protect the privacy of my clients and avoid conflicts of interest related to the writing I currently do during my day job, I am not posting any of my latest samples at this time. As I grow my business through personal networking and referrals, I will be reposting (with permission) some of my newer work.
SELECTED PORTFOLIO
The Benbury Bugle - The paper that started it all! Just for fun, check out this neighborhood newsletter I published at age eleven. Issue #10
Dakota Valley High School - I was responsible for writing, designing and editing most of the high school papers and yearbooks during my junior and senior years. See some samples.
Leader-Courier Newspaper - In addition to an office internship, I published feature articles for this weekly county newspaper.
The Wake - Some of my feature articles appeared in this University of Minnesota arts and literary publication. Voices of Dissent at .001 Watt outlines an innovative project sponsored by the Minneapolis Walker Art Center, while Walk with the Living, Work with the Dead presents an interview with the U of M mortuary science department head.
necessary to travel - December 2005 - This is my University of Minnesota senior thesis, under the direction of poet Michael Dennis Browne, submitted as part of magna cum laude candidacy. - PDF
DinkytownExchange.Com - Aug. 2005 - Jan. 2006 - This website featured articles I wrote and interviews I conducted. As Chief Editor, I was also responsible for managing student journalists and overseeing all news content on the site. UPDATE: Unfortunately, production on this website closed shortly after I resigned my position following graduation. The articles remained online for quite some time but no longer seem to be available. Unfortunately, I have not retained copies of this work.
